Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Quote:

Acceptance of this quote constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions. Any variations to the agreed scope of works may incur additional charges and will be quoted separately where applicable.

Materials Deposit:

A materials deposit may be required prior to commencement of works. Once materials have been ordered, the deposit becomes non-refundable, and all materials purchased become the property of the client.

Scheduling of Works:

Works will be scheduled upon confirmation that all required materials are available from the manufacturer or supplier. Delays caused by suppliers, weather, site conditions, or circumstances beyond our control may result in adjustments to the commencement or completion dates.

Payment Terms:

Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late Payment Fees:

Any invoice not paid within the 14-day payment period may incur a late payment fee of 10% per annum, calculated daily on the outstanding balance until payment is received in full.

Administration Fees:

An administration fee of $50.00 may be charged for overdue accounts requiring follow-up correspondence, payment reminders, debt collection activities, or additional account management.

Debt Recovery Costs

The client agrees to pay all costs associated with recovering outstanding debts, including but not limited to debt collection agency fees, legal costs, court fees, and any associated administrative expenses.

Ownership of Goods and Materials

Ownership of any goods or materials supplied remains with King Carpentry until full payment of all invoices has been received.

Access and Site Conditions:

The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the work site. Additional costs arising from restricted access, unforeseen site conditions, or delays outside of our control may be charged.

Cancellation:

If works are cancelled after acceptance of the quote, the client will be liable for all costs incurred up to the date of cancellation, including labour, materials ordered, and administrative expenses.

Australian Consumer Law:

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
